Philosophy Activities
Complete a summary chart of various philosophies of education and write your own philosophy of education (this will eventually be posted as your philosophy of education on your course web site). Please consult your textbook, some web resources, and/or conduct your own internet and/or library search.
Your two tasks are listed below.
Task 1: You may work in groups on this if you want, but complete the following summary chart which you can download in Word format. As an example of what to do, the first four rows have been completed for you (courtesy of the Dr. Bishop's Spring 2000 class). Once you have completed the chart, send it to me electronically. Please make sure that you record the sources you consulted in appropriate citation format beneath the chart.
