Announcing A 10 Day Cultural Study Tour To China.

Leaving on May 12, 2002 and returning May 22, 2002 join friends from Dakota State University on a 10 day cultural tour of China. Highlights of this tour include a visits to: Shanghai, Hangzhou, Su zhou,  and Xi'an. 

The tour will depart from Sioux Falls on Northwest Airlines. We will connect through Minneapolis, San Francisco, and Tokyo. We will spend 3 days exploring Shanghai, one day visitng Hangzhou, two days in Su Zhou, and two days in Xi'an.

Cost for the trip is estimated to be $1,300, which includes, airfare, transportation, hotels, train travel, and administrative fees.  

If you do not have a passport you will need to apply for one at a cost of $65. 

Based upon several visits to China meal costs should average about $6 per day, including beverages. This figure is based upon two or more people sharing dishes - which is the custom in China.  Meals are  taken at clean, modern restaurants.

The number of seats for this tour is limited to 10 travelers.
