| Dr. Streff is Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Information Assurance at Dakota State, which has been recognized by both the National Security Agency and The Department of Homeland Security as a national center of academic excellence in information assurance. Dr. Streff has extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, including banking, insurance, and credit operations, and holds technology-related degrees from Dakota State, Temple, and Capella University, where he graduated with honors in all programs. Dr. Streff is founder and managing partner of Secure Banking Solutions, a security consulting firm focused on improving security in community banks across the country. Dr. Streff is also President of InfraGard - South Dakota, a partnership program between Private Industry and the U.S. government (represented by the FBI). Dr. Streff frequently speaks nationally on security issues and solutions relevant to small and medium-sized banks. In fact, in the past four years Dr. Streff has spoken at over 50 events to promote information assurance in the banking sector. Dr. Streff is also PI on several grants, including grants in the areas of bank security, biometrics, and security awareness. Dr. Streff has often been on public radio and in newspapers and banking journals disseminating his ideas and results from his research projects and various techniques to secure banks and the banking infrastructure. |
