“Enriching Subject Guides: Integrating Learning Objects into Dicipline-specific Subject Guides.” Poster session at Association of College & Research Libraries 13th National Conference, Baltimore, Maryland, March 29-April 1, 2007.

Library home page redesigned July-August 2006 to meet DSU guidelines and to improve summer 2005 design. Required changes in several second level pages. The Library home page serves as a web gateway to research and the resources and services which support it.

 “Blazing Tablets: Teaching and Learning in a Paperless/Wireless Environment,” with Todd Quinn, Nancy Moose, and Maureen Murphy. Poster session on the use of the Tablet PC and WebCT in the wireless environment for teaching information literacy. EDUCAUSE ELI (Electronic Learning Initiative) conference, San Diego, CA, January 2006.

Served as editor-in-chief of a history of DSU, titled Keeping the Edge for 125 Years: Celebrating the History of Dakota State University, printed by DSU in March 2006.

 "Untethered in the Learning Commons" with Todd Quinn. Paper presented on the use of the Tablet PC and WebCT in the wireless environment for teaching information literacy. 4th Annual Beyond Boundaries Conference: Integrating Technology into Teaching & Learning, Grand Forks, ND, October 7, 2005.

Created major redesign of library homepage with input from students and library staff. This project required researching the literature of library site design, developing new knowledge (of CSS, XHTML, XML), developing mockups, and getting evaluations from library staff and students, July-August 2005.

Invited to lead discussion of major issues related to information literacy. “Information Literacy Breakout Session”, with Todd Quinn, Spring Forum of South Dakota Library Association, Brookings, SD, May 2005.
