Designed and implemented the original web site.  Maintain the web site by making changes as needed.  Created and implemented a technology newsletter to assist in making all faculty within the cooperative more technology literate.  Review all technical materials and prepare guidelines for operational use of programs.  Troubleshoot computer problems and recommend solutions, either through replacing the entire computer or replacing parts or adding  peripherals, and then installing components if decision is made to do so.  Prepare and conduct training classes, with training materials available for handout.  Maintain and operate a computer lab for use by students.  Test software recommended for classes, determine functionality, and prepare documentation for use by instructors and students.  Review materials and make recommendations on new computer systems or replacement parts.  Currently in the process of setting up a network lab for student use with the option of adding approximately 30 faculty and staff to this system in the future.  Provide software support on Microsoft Office (professional and 4.3); MS Mail; Internet; Windows; and other programs as necessary.  Currently working with Windows 95, 98, and NT and MS Office 95 and Office 97.  Also supporting DOS-based machines as well as the Macintosh Operating System and software.  Ordered and installed 3 network servers as well as 20 MAC computers.  Recently upgraded current office server, wired the entire school, and obtained internet services and am in the process of designing and implementing a wide area network between the schools and the cooperative.

Help Desk Coordinator.  Conducted a help desk training class to ensure all students within the technical field of study received training in the day-to-day operations of a help desk.  Maintain inventory, issued, and achieved returns of an inventory of approximately 600 laptops which were issued to students for use during each semester.  Supervised 2 full-time technicians, 5 work-study students, and approximately 100 students each semester.  Designed, then implemented the use of a call tracking program which reduced call wait times from 3 or more weeks to under 1 week for approximately 98 percent of calls received at the help desk.  Designed and implemented a tracking program for laptops issuance and return or renewal.
