While my husband was in the military I got to see most of Europe as well as most of the United States.  This is not where I picked up my love of traveling.  I learned that from my parents.  Every summer we traveled to an historic area in the United States.  By the time I graduated from High School, I had seen many of the historic landmarks in the United States.  I do regret that for the most part, the landmarks were all west of the Mississippi River.  I did not see the Eastern third of the United States until after my husband and I started moving around while he was in the military.  

Places I have been to.

• Germany
• One of my most favorite places to visit here was Berchtesgaden. There were a number of sites to see such as the underground salt mines (WOW!!!! Watch those slides, the Eagles Nest (Interesting and unique history) to name just a few.
