What is Cued Speech

Cued Speech is a manual form of communication for persons who are deaf or hard of hearing.  It makes the sounds, or phonemes, of a language visible by supplementing lip and mouth movements with hand shapes and positions.  It is not a language in itself, nor is it symbolic of concepts.  It provides visual symbols for sounds.  This ultimately transfers into literacy for its users that is equal to those who hear, which is generally not true for those persons using sign language.  My wife and I use this with our son.

Hobbies

Obviously I like music; most kinds. I like to sing, play trombone, read, fix things and be an active part of the local church.  Visit my page of matters Christian.

And here are some mp3s of me singing favorite songs in my own "studio".  Mostly to accomp. tapes (a) - some live piano (l) - some midi tracks of my own (m).
