Phone booths in London
If you like pigeons, you'll find plenty at Trafalgar Square. If you buy a little bird food, they'll come and land on you and eat right out of your hand. Unfortunately, what they eat, must also come out, so you have to careful of the extra souvenirs that may come "dropping" on you!
Big Ben is an awesome sight, as are the Houses of Parliament.
The Tower of London contains lots of history, but it also contains the Crown Jewels. Even after seeing them, it's hard to imagine diamonds and gold in those quantities (to say nothing of quality).
Last year we saw Buckingham Palace in the rain. It was still magnificent, but let's hope for better weather this year.
Riding the subway (the tube) is the primary method for getting around London. We'll have a pass so that we can come and go as we please.
