DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: School Counselors (Position 230) are responsible for assisting teachers in implementing instructional programs, implementing classroom behavior management, intervening in crisis situations, and liaison with staff. Counselors supervise and counsel students in meeting behavioral goals and coordinate standardized testing practices. Counsel students in post-high school career and educational opportunities.
