Last Stage to Laramie, Avalon Books, 1995.

"The passengers on the stage to Laramie might never reach Laramie, much to the dismay of the stage-line's owner and operator, Hank Weatherstone. Of course, it is not Hank's fault that they've run into some trouble.Okay, so he might have suspected that the prisoner traveling with the marshal might have some gunslinging cohorts. And yes, he might have had an inkling that a band of outlaws would try to steal the cargo of gold. After all, he did hire a guard. But really, how was Hank to know that his lovely young female passenger would be pursued by a persistent beau and her protective father? Or that the gambler aboard had cheated several men who would angrily demand compensation?

Despite all that he doesn't know, Hank is sure about one thing- if he has anything to do with it, this trip to Laramie will definitely not be the last."
